Why It Works

🧠

Mental Workout

Problem-solving tires a dog faster than another lap of the block.

🍽️

Slow Feeding

Kibble comes out a few pieces at a time — better digestion.

🎾

Erratic Bounce

Every roll is a new chase — play that never gets old.

How to Use: Opening the Difficulty Dial

  1. Start open and easy. Fill the ball with small treats and leave the adjustable gap at its widest for the first sessions — treats should fall out with one nudge. You're teaching "this ball pays."
  2. Narrow the gap gradually. Over a week or two, adjust the dispensing opening smaller. Each level makes your dog work longer for the same reward — five minutes of problem-solving is the goal, not frustration.
  3. Use it as a meal replacement. Once your dog has the hang of it, serve part of dinner through the ball. Fast eaters slow down naturally, and the working-for-food instinct gets its daily outlet.

Rinse after sticky treats and it's top-rack dishwasher safe. Unscrew fully for a deep clean weekly. More enrichment ideas in Snuffle Mats Explained and the FAQ.
